How do I find a specific database?
Answer
If you would like to search in a specific database, you can go to the main library homepage and click on the Databases icon. This will take you to the A-Z Online Resources page, which is an alphabetical list of all subscribed databases offered by the A&M-Victoria Library. Under each database is a description of its contents.
You can also sort by topic by going to the Subjects drop down on the top of the page and selecting your topic. This will give you a list of databases that hold material on this topic, as well as "Best Bet" databases, which are databases that your librarians have marked as a good starting place.
You can also choose databases by Type. For instance, using the Type pull down will let you select only databases with "video".
