How do I log on to a library database?

When you try to access an electronic resource, you should be automatically prompted to log in. A&M-Victoria users will use their Paw Pass credentials and VC users will use their Pirate Portal information.
If you are not prompted to log on and you are getting an error message from the database saying you do not have access, something went wrong. Here are the following fixes that you can try to see if it is a browser issue:
- If you have another browser downloaded, open up that browser and try to get access. If it works, you know that you need to clear your browser cache in your original browser.
- Clear your browser cache. You can find instructions on how to do so for each browser type online.
If clearing your browser's cache does not work, please contact the library for help.
